Dental Abscess
Hello,
I have dental abscess in the upper jaw and the pus comes out regularly after 2-3 days,
I am not able to visit any doctor due to covid.
I am not feeling pain,but i have read on internet that this is a serious problem.
Please guide me what to do.
I am having this since 3 to 4 months.

Hi presence of pus means there is infection in the tooth and surrounding bone which may ultimately become worse if treatment with a dentist is delayed
You need not worry about covid now since almost dentists follow strict protocol
Go to a nearby dentist and start the procedure so as to save your teeth

You need to visit endodontist and get the pus drained and get the cause treated. Mostly it can be due to decayed tooth and infection beneath. Diagnosis can’t be suggested unless X-ray is seen. But if delayed it can lead to bone loss and damage to the underlying tissues.

Sir, please visit a dentist to know the abscess is due to dental decay or deposits in gums.If it is from decay, you need to undergo RCT and crown to save the tooth. If it is from gums then professional cleaning and deep scaling will do.

Most of the dental clinics these days are taking covid precautions. Kindly visit a dental clinic as this problem will keep recurring till you get it treated. It might require a root canal treatment or an extraction.

Hi sir,
This condition is known as draining sinus, through which pus comes out occasionally. This sign indicates that nearby teeth needs treatment mostly Endodontic treatment ( RCT) if the tooth is not moving. Draining sinus is because of severe infection beneath a tooth due to multiple reason like deep cavity, trauma,etc...Treatment needs to start asap to stop spreading of this infection to other teeth nearby.
