There's no scientific evidence of any benefit,just hearsay.
Dengue is just like any other viral fever,and will settle down in 5-7 days.
No specific treatment is needed except for fever,give plain paracetamol,and repeat every 4 hours if required.
If she develops any rash,only them she needs medical intervention,as it means her platelets are very low.
