  4. Dengue fever. Are really very worried?

My sister is suffering from early stages of dengue. We admitted her to hospital where her platelets started decreasing and reaches up to 35000. They gave her medicines also and then we got her home . Please suggest us what to do. We are really very worried

Hi Rest is important during recovery stage. Give her vegetarian diet which is not heavy with adequate fluids. Warm water is ideal for drinking. Consumption of papaya is recommended. Apart from this give her fresh clean leaves of tinospora cordifolia{amrutaballi in Kannada}.

Avoid exposure to mosquitoes, cold atmosphere, heavy foods.
