Delay period
I normally have a 30-day cycle and my last period was feb 22. I had an intercourse on Jan25 and 2 feb and until now I haven't gotten my period yet. My next period was due 22 march and I am already 15 days late. It's been 45 days from the start of my last period..I tried an HPT this morning but the result was negative.Could I still be pregnant even if the first test showed up negative? Is it normal to have 35 days and above cycle? I need some opinions...thank you..

Since you haven't had sex after your last periods and UPT is negative as well, you can stop worrying about pregnancy. Please do ultrasound and consult a gynaecologist. You can be given short course hormone to induce periods

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Since you say your last sexual encounter was on 2nd Feb after which you got your periods on 22nd and the pregnancy test is also negative means you aren't pregnant. Yes sometimesthere can be a delay. Kindly get it checked out by a gynaecologist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
