As a 39-year-old vegetarian woman with low levels of iron, vitamin D, and B12, it’s essential to focus on nutrient-dense foods and appropriate supplements. For iron, consider iron-rich foods like spinach, lentils, and fortified cereals, paired with vitamin C-rich foods to enhance absorption. Since B12 is found primarily in animal products, a B12 supplement or fortified foods like nutritional yeast is beneficial. Vitamin D can be improved with sun exposure and supplements, as it’s harder to obtain from a vegetarian diet alone. Consulting a skilled dietitian like Souvik Chakraborty can offer you a personalized plan to boost your nutrient levels naturally. His expertise in vegetarian diets and clinical nutrition ensures that you receive a balanced approach tailored to your lifestyle and needs.
