There is no pain in other fingers of palm only when twisting thumb towards palm there is pain or doing something with thumb there is pain. It take about approx 4-6 weeks to settle. Above medicine seem to be ok. Hot compression good Ointment you can change to volini gel apply small quantity after warm compression. Use cock up splint  for wrsit support ( online available ) but buy from Pharmacy as size is important. Not to tight not to loose. Use for 4 weeks. It will help. Avoid prolong use of mobile phone and holding heavy objects. .give it rest for 2 weeks

Usually d quirvains subsides if you give adequate rest to wrist and thumb. So I guess you should give complete rest by using a splint instead for trying to do exercises. Or else surgical release is last and effective option
