Daughter fell off the bed

My daughter is 7.5 months old. She fel off the bed which is around 1 feet from the surface. I could notice some swelling on the back of her head. Kindly let me know what to do? Is keeping icepack on the affected area sufficient?

Initial management with ice pack is okay. You can give a painkiller like syrup combiflam 3.5 MLSOS six hourly for a day or two. Watch out for vomiting and altered sensorium, and if so, consult a doctor
