I have many dark spots on my face due to pimples.the pimples have reduced very much.The doctor has prescribed mein melalong cream.I want to ask if its a good cream and how much time will it take to completely cure me.thnx.

Hello,
Dark spots and scars post acne is a very common malady affecting teenagers and adults alike. A lot of factors contribute like severity of acne, prompt treatment of the same, picking acne, excessive sun exposure, and poor nutritional status too.
Creams do help in a limited way to reduce these spots but they take a very long time to respond and often the response is not satisfactory.
Now various very effective and safe treatments are available which give very good visible results which can only be planned after a dermatologist consultation.
Meanwhile take adequate sun protection by applying a sunscreen with spf of 15 to 20 every 3 hours along with the cream.
