If you tried all these medication for it...Still it persists...then you have to try one final medication from retinol class...which will cure it...

The pictures suggest persistent active acne with post-acne marks. Lasers alone are not a permanent solution and work best only after proper medical control of acne.
You’ve had acne for 5–7 years, with:
• Active lesions
• Residual marks / scarring
• Tried topical creams (adapalene, azelaic, salicylic acid)
That means this is not a simple surface problem anymore — it involves:
• Inflammation deep in hair follicles
• Possible sebaceous overactivity
• Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)
• Acne scars (if pits/texture changes exist)
Topical creams alone often cannot clear long-standing acne or deep marks/scars.
Laser can help, but:
• Different lasers treat different problems
• There’s no single “magic laser” that cures everything
So the answer isn’t “laser or nothing” — it’s right type of laser + proper acne control + maintenance plan.
Next Steps
A. Fix active acne first
If active pimples still appear, laser alone won’t help unless acne is controlled.
Most effective medically proven treatments:
1. Oral antibiotics (short-term)
2. Oral isotretinoin (Accutane) — for long-term control
• Best for persistent moderate–severe acne
• Requires monitoring (blood tests, liver, lipids)
Topicals that REALLY help (doctor-prescribed):
• Retinoid + benzoyl peroxide combo
• Azelaic acid
• Clindamycin + adapalene
• Moisturizer with ceramides (skin barrier)
⸻
B. Once active acne is controlled — choose lasers for marks/scars
Do lasers really work?
✔️ Yes — when applied by a trained dermatologist
✔️ Especially for scarring and persistent marks
❌ But results are gradual and require multiple sessions
❌ Results vary — deep scars need more aggressive treatments
Health Tips
Before laser
✔ Control active acne (topical + systemic if needed)
✔ Normalize sebum production (doctor-guided)
✔ Avoid sun exposure → PIH worsens with UV
✔ Start sunscreen daily (SPF 30+)
With laser treatment
✔ You’ll likely need 3–5 sessions spaced 3–6 weeks apart
✔ Combine with chemical peels and topical agents
✔ Expect recovery redness/swelling — this is normal
✔ Follow post-laser care strictly
You are not alone, and this is very treatable — even long-standing acne and marks improve significantly with a structured plan. Laser is a powerful tool, but it works best when acne is first controlled medically. If you’d like, we can go step-by-step:
➡ first stabilize the acne,
➡ then match the correct laser type to your scars and marks,
so you get lasting, noticeable improvement without guesswork.
If you want, you can share:
• Your exact acne type (pimples, pustules, scars, pits)
• How long marks have been present
• Whether acne worsens with stress or diet
…and I’ll help you build a personalized treatment roadmap.
Based on the photographs , diagnosis is nodulocystic acne with pigmentation .Stop picking , wear sunscreen lotion 3 hourly daily ,stop using home remedies , and detailed history required for proper oral medication .
I advice you firstly go for medical management
Right treatment is very important before going for any procedure
Tab lymecycline 408 mg once daily
Nadifloxacin ointment daily in the morning
Drink lot of water daily
Start B-complex capsule daily
Continue azelaic acid every alternate day
Liver health is very important so you can take liv. 52 tablet
Next Steps
Use gentle face wash like and moisturizer daily
Keep the skin hydrated

Keep patience
Health Tips
Do not touch your face and stop popping out acne .. don’t rush with many products at the same time and Avoid oily and spicy food and sugar
Dear Patient,
The most effective treatments for your condition are:
• Fractional CO₂ Laser — considered the gold standard for acne scars and deep marks. It helps in collagen remodeling and improves skin texture significantly. Multiple sessions (3–6) are usually required.
• Microneedling Radiofrequency (MNRF) — very effective for acne scars in Indian skin with less risk of pigmentation and shorter downtime.
• Laser toning / Nd:YAG — useful mainly for pigmentation and post-acne marks but not deep scars.
• Combination treatments (subcision + laser / MNRF + PRP) often provide the best results.
It is important to understand that laser treatments provide significant improvement (50–80%) but not 100% permanent removal, and new acne can still occur if underlying causes such as hormonal imbalance, oily skin, or lifestyle factors are present. Active acne should be controlled before starting scar procedures.
A proper skin examination is necessary to decide the most suitable procedure based on your scar type and skin sensitivity.
