Dark patch on newborn face

Asked for Male, 1 Years

My 7 week old baby has a light brown patch which starts from middle of his forehead covers his nose right eye and till the middle of his right cheek. It wasn’t present at birth but started to appear as his skin colour started to reduce. It hasn’t spread since I last saw few weeks back. What is it?
