Dark brown patches around mouth

Asked for Female, 26 Years

I hv acne scars on my cheeks n chin my cousin advised me to use swim-hc cream(hydroquinone, tretinion& mometasone furoate cream) i hv used tht cream and in stating it ws working very good my acne scars started fading but before 7-8 days i got dark brown patches around my mouth.. since thn I didn't use that cream n started home remedies for the patches around my mouth.. tell me what to do?
