Dandruff from 12 years.
I have severe dandruff problem from last 12 years. I have also hair loss problem from last 7 years... In my family there is no hair loss problem... I have taken treatment of allopathic and homeopathic but no improvement. I have applied every possible shampoo and taken every medicine recommended by doctors but no benefit. I had chicken pox and tepeated typhoid problem in 2004 so I had to take very high powers antibiotics.... After that I have the problem.... What to do?

Dandruff can be treated with lotions and shampoo (not commercial ones). Some people do have more oily scalp which cause visible flakes which we cause dandruff. There are some other conditions also which can present like flaking of the scalp. Maintence treatment is very important. Do not apply oil on scalp as it will increase the problem.
