Cystic lesion in underarm
I had ultrasound 2yrs back.. pls see the attached and then I had pregnancy and currently I m breastfeeding... I haven't stopped yet... Can I wait for the excision I am feeling burning itching in underarm... It will not turn into cancer right ?

It might be swelling of axillary tail which is extension of the breast to the underarms. If u have cysts -fluid filled bags there , there is a chance u might have them in your breast also Which is called benign cystic disease of breast for which u need to follow up with yearly sonogram. Main thing u should look out for is whether it increased in size or it has become more hard. U should do a self breast examination of yourself and feel your breast and underarms in circular motion and feel for any lumps or hardening. Other possibilities are sebaceous cyst for which u can see a small black opening over your swelling If present u should go to a surgeon and it need to be removed. Itching might be due to summer and sweating for which u should look for any skin discolouration and consult a dermatologist If present.- possibility of tinea.

Get a Sonogram for your breast and axilla it's always be safe than sorry. Get a General surgeon opinion.

breast feeding should be done continously for 6 months and u can wean off by 1to 1.5 yrs.and if u are continuing now baby will not be Exposed to other foods & gut development and accepting foods later on will be difficult. maintain proper hygiene every time u breast feed and clean yourself. otherwise there is a chance of infection in breast and the swelling u have

Good evening 2 years ago it was a non cancerous lesion . If u don't have any other complaints of pain , increasing in size : its less likely that it will be a cancer.

Get a repeat Ultrasound of B/L breast with Axilla and Review the report here.

U should gradually stop Breastfeeding the kid since he is already 2 year old else it'll be difficult for him to quit when he grows up further

USG is 2yrs old . It was small size and benign that time.
Next Steps
Consult general surgeon, may require antibiotics. Wear loose , airy , cotton garments. If needed new USG may be done.

As this ultrasound is 2yrs old and it was not a cancerous lesion back then, but now if you are experiencing any symptoms like increase in size, the swelling becoming hard, colour change, then you need to get an ultrasound done and consult a surgeon
