Cut on stomach - cesarean
My wife delivered baby in Mar 2016 by cesarean procedure. The corners of the cut on her stomach has healed but major part of the cut has swollen and has become a thick red line...doctors say that it is due to negligence and now they have told that some injections need to be injected in that swollen part and there is no other availabe treatment...but some doctor has prescribed "kelocote lotion" as a trial...but we are confused what is correct thing to do...kindly advise what can be done so that problem gets treated...we live nearby Chandigarh

Might be she got hypertrophic scar over the section site. If there is no symptoms, u can wait for healing. Otherwise topical application, injection at that site, cryotherapy are the available options. At least give pressure to the area with the thumb for 10-15 times a a will also help in healing
