Its lil tricky because you can't challenge your genes when it comes to hair texture. You can opt to straightening, keratin treatments at salon. You can use sulphate free and paraben free shampoo along with good conditioner for controlling frizz. Maybe the curls you are talking might be extreme frizz can be controlled by deep conditioning. Castor oil would help for moisturization and hair health. Can't comment on its straightening effects.🙂
