Your CT renal angiogram is reassuring no renal artery narrowing or vascular cause for BP. Kidneys and vessels look normal. Focus now on BP control with medicines, low salt diet, weight stress management. If BP still fluctuates, we can guide further evaluation feel free to consult.

"When a CT Renal Angiogram is ordered for a patient with High Blood Pressure (Hypertension), the primary goal is to rule out Renal Artery Stenosis (narrowing of the arteries supplying the kidneys). Since the reports are normal, it confirms that the hypertension is likely 'Essential' (primary) and not caused by a structural vascular blockage. This is a very reassuring result for long-term management
Next Steps
Strict BP Monitoring: Continue maintaining a daily BP log. A normal report doesn't mean the BP is cured; it means the cause is not a blocked artery. Salt Restriction: Ensure she maintains a low-sodium diet (Dash Diet) to keep the blood pressure within the target range (<130/80 mmHg). Renal Function Tests (RFT): While the angiogram checks the pipes (arteries), regular blood tests like Serum Creatinine and Urea are still needed to check the filters (kidney function). Lifestyle Stability: Focus on light exercise and stress management to complement the ongoing medicinal therapy. Consultation for Adjustment: If her BP remains high despite medication, a detailed consultation is necessary to optimize her drug dosages or add a different class of antihypertensives.
Health Tips
Book a formal consultation so we can review her current medication dosages and ensure her BP remains perfectly controlled to prevent any future organ damage."
