In case child has been on regular antibiotics , there is something like drug fever that can happen . Here child remains active , but keeps having fever and tests keep coming normal . CRP if was positive due to an infection may take a while to settle down . In such situations it makes sense to stop all thw drugs for 48 to 72 hours and see . If the fever subsides nothing more to be done . If it recurs then retesting needs to be done
Needless to say this is something that you should not do on your own but under medical supervision

Antibiotics is the problem.
From 1st day of fever, if you are giving antibiotics the fever will go away but it will reappear again
Next time the child has fever, give only liquids and paracetamol for 3 days, if child is active, taking liquids and passing urine adequately.
Give antibiotics after doing the blood test, don't jump for antibiotics directly on first day.
Child most probably has underlying urine infection or some such infection which has not been treated properly.
Crp is a poor marker for infection. It suggest infection but what it doesn't suggest.
