Creatinine 2.94 for my Father
Dear Doctor, My Dad's age is 69. He is on Kidney related medications like Qten & Ketocheck since 3 years and Diabetes/Thyroid medications since many years. Recently his Creatinine increased from 1.5 to 2.94. But all the other Kidney parameters are perfectly Ok.  Reports attached. His HBA1C is 9.1. TSH is 10. Our concern is whether these fluctuations are due to aging? What kind of approach do we need to take to control Kidney/Thyroid/Diabetes parameters. Please suggest

These fluctuations are not normal and are not due to aging. It should be thoroughly investigated and treated for any possible reversible factor to be treated. Consult a nephrologist for proper evaluation and management or share ongoing treatment and investigation, for adequate management.
