Covishield 1st dose, +ve now & diabetic
My aunt has taken 1st dose of vaccination. She got fever, cough and went to doctor for consultantation, where they said she is covid +ve. Also her sugar levels increased to 400.. she was a non-diabetic earlier. Is this common? To become a diabetic? Any other implications?
Is she really +ve, or is it because of vaccination? Becoming diabetic is common or it's a matter of concern? Do she need to go for diabetic treatment?

Please send HbA1C, urinalysis and consult with endocrinologist.Covishield neither cause diabetes nor COVID +. Though patients can be COVID-19 +ve if they contacted someone maybe asymptomatic carrier before the incubation period.
