Covid Vaccine - Urgent
I got covid Positive on 20th Mar'21 with minor symptoms - mild cough and fever. Did RT PCR retest on 7th Apr'21 and it was negative. During covid I did blood tests CRP, D-Dimer, KFT LFT TSH and ferritin, all were normal but after 2 weeks docs suggested to do D-Dimer again and it was slightly elevated 0.64. I was put on Curzest 500 mg twice and Eliquis 5 mg OD for 1 month ( just completed this medication) please let me know when I can go for vaccination, whether to take covishield or covaxin? Considering D-Dimer was slightly elevated.

Please wait for another 4-6 weeks before you go for the vaccination. It is important that you recover fully before getting vaccinated. Both Covishield and covaxin can be taken, it is best that you speak with your vaccinator before getting the vaccine administered.
