If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, then consult with your gynaecologist before getting vaccination. Same applies if you are breastfeeding. At the moment, FOGSI ( Federation of obs and gynaecology society of India) recommends vaccination for all women. But, it's better if you consult with your local gynecologist first.
Post vaccination, drink plenty of fluids, take pcm tablets in case of fever or malaise. Avoid travel and rest at home.
Just wear mask, sanitizer before and after vaccine. Stay hydrated. If fever occurs after vaccination you can take Paracetamol 500/650mg. No other precautions to be taken. Except that if you're allergic avoid vaccination.
It is better that you postpone taking the vaccine until there are lockdowns, it will be easier to manage any reactions in case you are allergic to any medicines. Once you get the vaccine, take a paracetamol before going to bed.
Next Steps
Speak with your vaccinators before getting the vaccination.
