Hi, Its advisable that Pregnant and Breastfeeding Women should not get the vaccine as the effect of the vaccine has not been studied in pregnant women and nursing mothers completely . There is insufficient data.

1. DO NOT take first dose of vaccine now neither COVISHIELD nor COVAXIN 2. If first dose of COVISHIELD vaccine has already been taken by the female, she can take 2nd dose 3. COVAXIN should strictly be avoided in pregnant as well as breastfeeding females

Hello! According to reports from the UK health service, covishield can be taken by pregnant mothers (but the Indian medical council had not arrived so far), but not covaxin. Kindly take a consult so I can explain in detail. Thank you :)
