At this point of time, vaccine is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women as they have not been a part of the clinical trials of vaccine. Some experts do suggest that you can go for the jab as it is not a live vaccine and theoretically unlikely to affect the breast fed baby. In fact the antibodies formed may get transferred through breast milk and give immunity to the baby. So, This question is still open for discussion till more data is available.
