I am a covid patient and I am still having fever on 8th day.
My Doctor prescribed Predmet 16mg twice a day. I am confused as this is steroid.What to do??

Your doctor has taken the right decision as steroids are required in some patients if fever continues in the 2nd week, if there is severe cough etc.

Don't worry.Follow your doctors instructions.Steroids are recommended in cases with continuous high fever beyond 7 days.

Don't stop taking steroids abruptly.Your dose need to be tapered.

Having fever till 8 day is normal . Your doctor might have prescribed for controlling coving lung symptoms Nd others . Don’t worry continue treatment as told .. if still need advice kindly consult
