Covid related
Hi , My father is recently diagnosed with covid19 and was undergoing treatment from the past 5 days . We were asked to get d-dimer , C-RP and few other tests . From the reports , it was observed that d-dimer is 417 ng/ml . The normal range indicates 250 ng/ml . However , he is not showing any other symptoms that were seen earlier . Please let me know if this result of d-dimer is dangerously high ? Is a high d-dimer normal during covid infection? How long would it take for the d-dimer to come down , with proper medication ? And what should be done further ? Other details : no comorbidities
