Covid related anxiety
When I'm immersed in an activity with complete focus, I feel fine but as soon as I get free, I feel I'm not getting enough oxygen in my lungs. I suddenly get stressed thinking I'm gonna die and I won't get oxygen cylinder like many people. I did yoga today and I felt relieved, infact good. But now as I'm alone, I again feel I'm having respiratory problems. I used to walk in park for 1.5 hours before lockdown. I never faced any problem. Even though I'm overweight. I've been overweight my entire life no problem of thyroid just genes and lifestyle. I weigh 84kgs and my height is 5'5". How to know if I'm really having respiratory problem without oximeter? I've no symptom of covid as of now. No cough, no elevated body temperature, no loss of taste or smell. What should I do about this situation? What problem am I facing?

Dear Anxious, You are doing fine as far as I understand from your text. Your hobby is able to keep you feel fine. Try to continue the good work and if possible add a new hobby. In this pandemic situation everyone feels stressed but you are actually able to overcome it well. Being alone is scary and boring but since you are able to distract yourself well, it's good. You might have lost the time you get to walk outside but you can still walk or dance inside the house with some good music to hear. With Regards, Dr.Nisha James
