Covid recovery
Hi. My brother is covid positive from past 10 days. He has no symptoms now but his RTPCR test still says he is positive. Can he go out of isolation and meet family now or he could still be carrying virus to infect others in family. My brother is double vaccinated with a booster shot as well. Please guide

His immunity is good that's why he didn't have any symptoms. Precaution is always better. In family there might be older person, as compared to younger older one has low immunity. To avoid infection to older one he should take some precautions like wearing a mask, maintain some distance.

If there are no symptoms he can end home isolation . But he should be carefull while sneezing, coughing etcc.. for few more days

Rt pcr can be positive but infective period is over He can meet people if afebrile for more than 3 days

PCR positivity may remain for sometime,it can be because of non infective viral particles but he can still be infective to others. Better to take precautions including isolation for some more time

Yes after 8 days from first symptom isolation can be ended.. but taking care of body is required.. good diet and plenty of fluids
