Covid query
Mildly affected with covid in 2 months bk - tested in august n was negative.. lost taste n smell.. from past 2.5 months i have only 30-40% of smell n taste. Nasal scan is normal no blockages. Should i live my life assuming i ll not get taste n smell bk.. i m so anxious & worried. I had all medicines prescribed.. its a depressing feeling plz help

Hi...post covid anosmia takes atleast 7-10weeks to recover...but the recovery period varies!! Dont worry!!

Smell taste will recover from 3 weeks to 6 months. It takes time. And if diabetic or hypertensive recovery is often slow. Need not worry. Keep nutritional supplements on. Rest hope for the best. Tc

Usually recovers  in 3 weeks to one month. But some report of late recovery also there.
