Covid Query
Dear Doctor, Good Evening. I am having a pain in left hand joint, continuing with some pain in legs. No fever or Cough. If i feel i get contracted with the virus, when i have to take a test for RTPCR test, after how many days?. Today i had done RAT, where the report is negative. Please suggest me. Does covid directly attacks lungs and damage them? Or firstly shows symptoms then incubate into lungs.?.

Pain in hands and legs can be due to general malaise caused by any kind of virus. If RAT is neg. , That doesn't mean u are 100 % neg. Rtpcr is a better test then RAT Covid attacks lungs but simultaneously shows symptoms as any other viral infections will show.
