Covid positive Mother.

Asked for Female, 28 Years

Baby is 14 days old. Born 5 weeks early. Baby's mother and father both are covid positive. The mother is breastfeeding the baby girl. Can the mother take the prescribed medicines for covid (as is given to the baby's father) while breastfeeding her??

Hi.. it depends on which medicines have been prescribed.. some medicines should not be taken by breastfeeding mother.. also depends on symptoms of mother
