Hello doctor, My elder brother and sister having covid-19 positive and today it's 7 days complete of covid-19. We have consult a doctor and asked about diet plan for covid positive and doctor told us to eat only chapattis and sabji nothing else no milk no daal no eggs. We didn't understand what should we do right now. My sister having nemonia disease and my brother having sugar problem. Please suggest me what should we do at this time??

As if now to recover from COVID both your siblings need good protein rich diet like egg milk cereal meat etc. Also you have to include the content of fruits in diet. Soya suppliment can be incorporated as well. A lot of weakness is there in covid patients so frequency of meal must be increased. The sugar level if at all increases with the change in dietary habits can be managed by adjusting the anti hypoglycemic agents. Remember first regain the strength.
