Covid management
My brother is Covid-19 +ve and having moderate symptoms. Fever since 8 days (99.3 to 100.8) mostly. CRP - 10.58 Platelets - 157000 Hemoglobin - 13.2 spO2 - 96/97 while sitting and 87-90 while lying down. Able to do pranayam and walking himself. Proning as well. He is on Meftal-Forte 825, Dolo 600 in between if required. Multivitamins + Zink. Completed the starting course of antibiotics, cetrizine + montelukast, Ivermectin as well. Started Ecospirn at night now. Our concern is how many days the fever would take to completely go away? Anything to worry? Should we try something else as well. He did not have any cough earlier now intermittent cough is there.

The fever takes sometimes more than 14 days to go away in some cases. As the fever is in mild range, there is not much need to be worried. You can continue with tab zincovit and tab limcee. And have DOLO 600 whenever the temp is beyond 100. And have tab azithromycin once a day for 4 days for the cough.
