My son tested covid positive on 18th Apr. Onset of symptom 17th Apr. Fever 100.8. He took 5days Azothromycin 1time, Calpol 3times alongwith zinc/multi vitamins/vitC/D3. His fever came down in 2days. Today is 13th day from onset but he still have low grade fever. Fever is on-off in a day and ranges between 98 to 99.6.Does he have some other infection too. No other symptoms. Can he come out from isolation. Do rtpcr required before that. Is this fever usual for covid patient. Max till wen it will be there.When i should get worried due to fever?

Don’t worry about the fever if it’s less than 100. Give PARACETAMOL only if the fever crosses 101. Otherwise cold sponging of the head and body is enough. God bless
Remain isolated for a week.
Do not get RT PCR done again.
Fever will subside gradually if persist beyond 100 for 2 days...It needs detailed evaluation and treatment
