Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely.
If not accompanied by any other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
Stop all medicines if above symptoms are not present.
If not improving in 3 days OR accompanied by above,consult your paediatrician for physical examination and investigation for further management.

Zifi is a antibiotic which will work for typhoid fever also, but any antibiotic will need 48hrs to work, even then if fever continues, go for a blood test to confirm diagnosis as it is already more than 5 days.
