My wife is suffering from less sleeping depression, goes off, and not interested in any household work after Covid in April 2021. She is under treatment of psychiatric, took 5 counselling also. Now she is though better but negative in thoughts, when asked for Counselling, Yoga or gym she never agrees and very adamant. I put query yesterday and got guidance and probably she is suffering with brain fog
Now she is on medication of
Symbal 20. BD
Colonotril 0.25 BD
Zolfresh 10 at night
Remyllin D OD
How to convince her for counselling so she revive her original nature a year ago ?

Hi, I am sorry this is happening. I am sure this is hard time for you as her care giver. I am not sure she can be pushed to be counselled until she agrees on her own. Counselling or therapy doesn’t work till there is client or patient trust in the therapy and the therapist. I suggest not to push her and find what’s stopping her from healing her own self. It looks like she might be feeling resentful about something. Resolve that and I am sure she will take your suggestion about therapy or counselling.

Hi
You can convince her for counselling. You can do it gradually and ensure you feel calm. Try to create a calming atmosphere and you and she can do certain activities together such as listening to relaxing music or watching television. If she does not want to do yoga and gym it is alright. For now you can do certain activities with her and support her. Ensure that she eats well and has her favourite meal. Gradually work on creating a calming atmosphere and you can then convince her for counselling.
Ensure that you feel calm and take care of yourself.
Next Steps
Consult a psychologist

Hi,
Some of these kind of symptoms, are related to side effects of so many medicine.
As covid can effect on cardiovascular system, blood pressure, heart bumping, the anxiety, stress can be increased, specifically those who were under the medication before.
Just she needs support and please try to understand her situation and change the environment, talk calmly with her related to your feelings and worries. Help her to understand that just medicine can not help her as the side effects of medicine are more than the benefits. If she wants to get rid of all these challenges, she needs to consult with a psychologist/ therapist to get the results...
If you can change the environment and make happy or interesting situation at home, it's a big support. Group Dancing, yoga, meditation are magical solutions...
She needs your support...
Do take care please.
You can help her making following changes in routine with guided meditation
Positive thinking, reduce stress.
Change your diet.
Get enough sleep – 7-8 hours a day, go to bed at 10pm or no later than midnight.
Regular exercise.
I would ask you to join a post covid support group. It'll help you to know better and understand her symptoms and help her accordingly.
Try listening to lectures of Brahma Kumari Shivani or guided meditation while sitting besides her. Make it an everyday ritual.
For her, I'd also recommend taking access bars session as she will just have to lie down for that session, not do anything.
Try changing her environment externally, watch comedy shows while sitting besides her just for 30 mins.
