Coughing along with hand foot mouth
My daughter is 3 years old she is having hand foot mouth at present fever ulacers in mouth and rash bit along with that she is also coughing a lot why so? We are giving her asthalin inhaler for cough? why cough?

Hand foot mouth disease is a viral disease and involves respiratory tract too. Due to irritation in pharynx it causes cough. Asthalin inhaler won't help. Instead give hot liquids, expectorant syrup and honey.

Hi, HFM disease is a viral, along with fever, rash, mouth ulcers it also has mild respiratory symptoms like cold cough, may be with pharyngitis. Give the child like warm liquids and soothing like honey
