In elderly patients with Parkinson's disease also bedridden, cough during having food maybe because of food particles entering wind pipe,
Please do make him sit in chest up position during having food.

While feeding keep him on a slant sitting posture on the bed.
Only fluids and soft finely mashed food ,bland food without spicy to be fed in small quantities.
Tulsi cough syrup as Kasni of Mahirshi ayurveda co. Or
Cough 15 from Revento can be given .Or
Draksharishta can be given.
