My father was affected by cough issue for the long days. He follows the medicine instructions from ESI hospital at sivakasi but he didn't cure by those medications. And,I consults some other doctors but they told me that no problem in his lungs.. He vomits blood when coughing. Please give me a suggestion for that problem like which doctor I could consider, which type of medicine I could take.

Hello good evening, Please nothing to worry according your father and at the same time you have to take some interest and some active steps to know what could be the cause for cough and expectorating along with blood. Usually this occurs in chronic lung problems and we have to rule out sometimes pulmonary tuberculosis. . Please try to contact me and let your father speak with me so that I will explain to you how to proceed further and what investigations to be done and what medications to be taken. The final diagnosis can be done only after speaking with your father. .
