Hello Ma’am,
Betadine gargle is usually meant to be diluted more — your mixture (10 ml in half glass water) may be a bit strong, which is why you are feeling dryness and burning in the mouth. That’s why you should always follow the instructions on the bottle or as advised by a doctor. Relief after gargling is expected, but burning means the solution is too concentrated.
You may stop or use a more diluted solution (for example, 5 ml in a glass of water) if needed. Also, warm salt-water gargles can be a gentler option. If cough and cold continue for more than a week, or you develop high fever, it’s better to consult a doctor.
I hope it helps you. For proper management and treatment, you can consult me.

Betadine gargle should usually be diluted more .around 1 part Betadine in 3–4 parts water. Using it too strong can cause dryness or burning in the mouth.
Next Steps
Since you are already feeling irritation, better to stop using it in that concentration. For relief, you can do warm salt water gargles instead, which are safer for frequent use.
Health Tips
If cough and cold persist beyond a few days or you develop fever, throat pain, or difficulty breathing, please see a doctor for further evaluation.
Betadine gargle can help reduce throat irritation, but it should be diluted properly to avoid dryness and burning; instead of mixing 10 ml (about 2 teaspoons) with just half a glass of water, you should dilute the same 2 teaspoons in a full glass of warm water before gargling, as this reduces irritation while still being effective. You can use it 2–3 times a day.
Next Steps
If you still feel significant burning or dryness, it is better to stop and switch to warm salt water gargles (½ teaspoon salt in a glass of warm water)
Plenty of fluids, steam inhalation, and take rest
Health Tips
if your cough and cold persist beyond 10–14 days, or if you develop fever, throat swelling, or breathing difficulty, please consult a doctor for further evaluation

If it burns , take 10 ml in full cup, or 5 ml in half glass . If it atill burns after that , start with salt water gargles . That will help too. And if you are having for more than a week. You should start taking antibiotics .
