Cough and sneezing in kids

Hi doctor My daughter is 8 years old...from Sunday she started sneezing and coughing started..no other symptoms.. I started giving home made ajwain leaves syrup 1 or 2 table spoon still cough is not reduced. Plz suggest what to do ..should i give antibiotics.. augmentin dds Thanks

If there is no fever and breathing difficulties, we can observe. You don't need to add antibiotics. Start betadine gargles in warm water. Give strepsils. And give phenargan syrup.
