My wife aged 58 years has left cortical cyst of 20mm is it neccesary for it to be operated? she has this urge of urinating and some times with blood in urine please advise

The Renal cyst of the size mentioned need not be operated if the ultrasound shows that the features are benign. Please do a urine culture and sensitivity test to rule out urinary tract infection, but if the symptoms are persistent inspite of the absence of infection, she would need evaluation of lower urinary tract. It may not be related to the Renal cyst.
