As a baby I had fair skin, now I'm golden tan. I guess this is my permanent skin color now because I don't get any lighter than this (in the summer, I tan easily and got a little tanner but always returned to the golden tan color). However, my chest area is considerably lighter. Every solution I have looked for has told me to lighten my skin but I love my color. If I tan my chest, will it stay tan? I don't want be lighter. Thank you.

UV exposure through sun or through UV lamps can induce tanning... as the trunk and chest area is less exposed the tanning doesn't induce there to the same level through routine daily exposure. you could do to a tanning Salon and apply sun screen on your face and neck so that only the chest and trunk area gets tanned to get a similar tone. hope this is helpful.
