Corneal vascularization in eye
Hi, my husband is having recurrent eye infection with redness and itching and white discharge after waking up. This has been going since last 2 months , last month he consulted ophthalmologist and he told he is having corneal vascularization in left eye so he suggested antibiotic and lacryl hydrate drops for specific time. After the course finished, again he started to have same symptoms and when he again visited the dr, he told him that left eye is fine but now vascularization is seen in right eye , so he again suggested antibiotic drops for 2 weeks and told him to continue lacryl hydrate drops for long term. I'm worried if it can lead to diminished vision or other issues and can using so much antibiotic and lacryl hydrate drops will have side effects. Kindly suggest what should we do, really worried for him.

It is important to use antibiotics for a certain amount of time until the infection has cleared,   keep regular follow-ups, and continue the same..
