Corns can be removed surgically. But it is important to rest adequately following the procedure and use proper footwear with insoles to evenly distribute the pressure so that one can minimise the chance of recurrence. Most surgeons and dermatologists do this procedure. It is a minor surgery done under local anaesthesia with application of a dressing. Do rest after the removal to get the best results.
