Corn in feet
Sir, my 79 yr old  father has 5-6 chronic (over 20 yrs) corn/ calluses in his feet for a very long time which makes it painful for him to walk bare feet and even with padded shoes. Is there a cure possible? If yes then shall we visit podiatrist or dermatologist or any other specialist? Thanks Shaleen

Corn can be excised after it has been thinned out with salicylic acid creams. Also, corn has to be differentiated from warts. Please ask him not to wear soft footwear. Do not scrub the feet with anything. Visit a dermatologist who can guide you with the treatment.
