Contractions at 30 weeks of pregnancy
Hello mam/sir... I m 30 weeks pregnant. my pregnancy is ivf conceived pregnancy. my last ultrasound was done on 22 june 2022.. everything was fine in that ultrasound. but since last few days i m feeling contractions in my uterus( tightness in lower abdomen) which usually come and go in in a minute. these contractions occur two to three times in a day.. should I be concern or it is normal??is it a sign of premature labor?

Hello dear It could be because of Braxton Hicks contraction which are normal during pregnancy. Since it is ivf conception still I would suggest to start minimum dose or progesterone like susten or duphastan to help continue pregnancy.

if pain persistent visit treating Gynaecologist. also ask for antenatal corticosteroids for lung maturation.
