Hello..It's related to your occupation.You should follow ergonomics.If you having pain at present than first meet physio and take pain relief modalities followed by neck strnghtening exercise.It's commom in IT profession.

Apply pain relief gel and after that hot water bag for 15 mins twice a day.take frequent break in between work, every 1 hr you should get up from the chair n move around and do some warm up neck exercise.Take proper slip.Don't lift heavy weight. Learn exercise from physio n do regular as you r workong in this profession make that exrcise as a routin. Take care.
