About three weeks ago I got pretty sick and ever since then my ear has been popping everytime I swallow, sometimes one pop sometimes three. When I yawn it especially pops loud and I can't hear anything for a while. It doesn't hurt though, it's more of a discomfort from the fact my hearing isn't good. It's been about two-three weeks now.

The ear and area behind the nose is connected with a tube called Eustachian tube, when ever you swallow the tube opens or even when you yawn . Otherwise it is closed. When it opens air either goes inside the ear or comes out. That is what is happening to you and you are hearing pop sounds.
It should settle down in a week if not consult an ENT nearby!
