Consultation Regarding Ongoing Hair Fall
Hi Doctor, I’ve been experiencing noticeable hair fall for the past few months. Some days it’s mild, and other days it increases — roughly between 20–60 strands. The hair fall is more prominent during showering, shampooing, combing, or even when running my hands through my hair. I suspect it may be related to work stress, nutritional deficiencies, or possibly androgenetic alopecia, as both my grandfathers and father have a clear history of hair thinning and partial baldness. I’ve also noticed increased visibility of the scalp around the crown area, and I’m attaching photos for reference. Additionally, I’ve recently developed dandruff as the weather has become colder and drier, although this wasn’t an issue during the summer months. I’m looking forward to your diagnosis and guidance on treatment options. Thank you, Akash
