On saturday I caught up an accident means not exactly the accident with me actually 2 bike riders collide with each another and one of the bike fell on me. The bike handle hits on my hand. It hits exactly at the back side of my hand between the fingers and wrist. Swelling is there but today comparitively it less. The movement of fingers and wrist is freely possible. So can you please suggest wheather it is fracture or not.Or is it necessary to show my hand to orthopaedic specialist or else MBBS is ohk.

Hello there
The bike handle hit your hand or it fell down on your hand can make a world of difference to your injury outcome.
Also since the wrsit and finger movements are there along with lesser swelling is a good sign.
Do you have a slight warm temp at the site of trauma?
It is better to take an xray to be on the safe side?
Have you taken any medications?
